How this service works
Version 2026-09-06-draft
This wording is a working draft and has not yet been reviewed by a Greek lawyer. It describes how the service actually operates today. Final terms will replace it before launch, and we'll ask you to read and accept those when they're ready.
What we do
Meraki Mail gives you a Greek postal address and a member number. Post and parcels addressed to you at that address are received on your behalf, recorded, and kept until you collect them, ask for them to be forwarded, or ask for several to be combined into one box.
We do not open your post. Packages are recorded from the outside — dimensions, weight and a photograph of the unopened item.
Your member number
Anything sent to us must carry your member number. It is how a parcel is matched to you. Items arriving without one are held separately while we try to identify them, and we cannot guarantee they will reach you.
What you pay
A monthly plan fee, plus storage rent for the space your packages occupy beyond what your plan includes. Rent is charged per package per month and stops the day a package leaves us. Full details are on the pricing page.
Forwarding and combining packages are charged separately. You always see the price and agree to it before anything is charged, and the amount you agreed is the amount you pay, even if our prices change afterwards.
How long we keep things
Six months on Standard, twelve on Premium, counted from the day an item arrives. After that it is not thrown away — the storage rate increases, and we will contact you. What happens to genuinely unclaimed items is a question we are taking legal advice on, and these terms will be updated to say so clearly.
Forwarding
We forward within Greece only. You choose a service and see the price before agreeing; the charge is taken at that moment. You then have twelve hours to change the delivery address. After that we are preparing the package to ship and it can no longer be changed from your account — though you can always contact us.
If we cannot reach you
We email you when something arrives and when it leaves. Keeping your email address up to date is your responsibility. We keep a record of every message we send, and you can see it on request.
What may not be sent here
Nothing illegal, dangerous, perishable, or restricted under Greek or EU law. We may refuse or dispose of such items, and we may be required to report them.
Payment problems
If a payment fails we will tell you and try again. While a balance is outstanding your packages stay safely with us but cannot be collected or forwarded until it is settled. Nothing is disposed of because of an unpaid bill.
Closing your account
You can cancel at any time, provided nothing of yours is still with us and nothing is outstanding. You can also ask us to delete your personal data — see the Privacy Policy for what we can remove and what we are required to keep.
Our responsibility
We take care of your property and keep it in a controlled, access-limited space. ⚠️ The extent of our liability if something is lost or damaged is being settled with Greek legal advice and will be stated plainly here. We would rather leave this blank than promise something we have not properly checked.
Changes
When these terms change we will ask you to read and accept the new version. We keep a record of which version you agreed to and when.
